Understanding order statuses
Every order carries a fulfillment status that determines which actions are available. Here's what each one means.
- 1
Processing — the connected store is still processing the order.
- 2
Waiting for Payment — the order awaits payment before it can proceed.
- 3
Waiting for Shipping Method — no shipping method is assigned yet; set one from the order page.
- 4
Items Not Ready — some items aren't ready to ship (e.g. tagged as pre-order).
- 5
Waiting for Picking — queued for the Pick Slip (pre-collection) step.
- 6
Being Picked — currently being collected in a Pick Slip run.
- 7
Pending Fulfillment — ready for a label to be generated and packed.
- 8
Being Fulfilled — a fulfillment is in progress (label generated / order being packed).
- 9
Skipped — intentionally set aside during packing.
- 10
Needs Attention — a problem blocks fulfillment; check the error banner on the order page.
- 11
In Transit to Store / Ready for Pickup — store pick-up orders on their way to, or waiting at, the pick-up location.
- 12
Fulfilled — completed and shipped.
- 13
Cancelled / Refunded — set by your connected store; not actionable in OrderKrab.
- 14
Unprocessable — the order can't be processed automatically (you can hide these in Settings).
Good to know
- "Fulfilled" means packed and shipped — not delivered. OrderKrab tracks an order up to the moment it's packed and handed to the carrier; it does not track when the parcel reaches the recipient. Being Fulfilled means a label exists and packing is underway, and Fulfilled means the parcel is packed and on its way — neither status changes on its own when the carrier later delivers. To follow delivery, use the order's tracking code on the carrier's site.
- Payment badges are separate: Pending, Paid, Partially Paid, Refunded, Partially Refunded, COD (Cash On Delivery).
