How to do everything in OrderKrab

81 step-by-step tutorials covering every button and workflow — from your first order to advanced shipping automation.

How to manage made-to-order (production) items

The Made-to-order page tracks items that must be produced before shipping. Workers claim items from a shared queue, mark them made, and the orders become ready to fulfill.

  1. 1

In the sidebar, click Made-to-order. Tabs: Queue (to be made), All Production (being made by anyone), My Production (yours), and Made (finished).

  2. 2

On the Queue tab, click Start Making on an item to claim it — or Start Making Order to claim all items of an order at once.

  3. 3

The item moves to My Production with the status Being Made.

  4. 4

When it's produced, click Confirm Made (or Confirm Order Made for a whole order, or Confirm Made All for everything on the page). The item becomes Ready to ship.

  5. 5

Made a mistake? On the Made tab click Back to Production; to release a claimed item, click Cancel.

  6. 6

Use Filters to narrow by product, variant, or metadata — and the Order number filter (Odd / Even order numbers) to split work between two people. The Item splitter draws a divider after every N items for batching.

Good to know

  • The list refreshes automatically every 15 seconds; a banner appears if someone else changes it.
  • Search by order number, customer, or email; sort by oldest or newest first.
