What changed for Beatos
Benefits from the first day
Picking all the orders in one go with the Pick List paid off immediately. The team walks the shelves once, not once per order.
Every product confirmed by scan
Each item is scanned at the packing desk, so a wrong tin or book is caught there, not by the customer.
Developers who listen
Questions get an answer almost instantly, and feedback is genuinely heard by the people who build OrderKrab.
Before OrderKrab
Rapid growth in a tiny space
Beatos sells olive oil, tinned fish, tea, kitchenware and Beata Nicholson's cookbooks from its own Shopify store. The store grew rapidly, and the way orders were fulfilled did not keep up.
- Mistakes when fulfilling orders, and every extra order was another chance to make one.
- A tiny space that was both warehouse and shop, which made the daily routine inefficient.
- Orders picked one at a time, with a separate walk along the shelves for each.
With OrderKrab
How Beatos works with OrderKrab
- 1
All the orders are picked in one go
The Pick List puts every item from every waiting order into one list on the phone. The same product from several orders becomes one row with a total, so the team walks the shelves once and collects everything before packing starts.
More about the Pick List - 2
Every product is scanned at the packing desk
At the desk, each tin, bottle and book is scanned as it goes into the box. If an item is wrong or missing, OrderKrab shows it before the label prints, so the mistake never leaves the warehouse.

The label prints at the same desk
When the last item is scanned, the shipping label prints right there, whether the order goes with DPD or Omniva. One desk and one screen take each order from the first scan to a parcel ready for the courier.
OrderKrab was a no-brainer for us. Picking all the orders in one go, using the pick list function, gave us tangible benefits immediately.
The developers reply almost instantly and genuinely listen to you. It's worth every penny.
