OrderKrab vs Base (BaseLinker)

Looking for a BaseLinker alternative? Start with where your orders come from: marketplaces, or your own store.

  • Built for your own store
  • Parcel lockers in your checkout
  • Returns on your own site
  • A lower fee per order

The short answer

Base, formerly BaseLinker, is an order hub. It brings orders from marketplaces such as Allegro, Amazon and eBay and from online stores into one panel, with stock, a product catalogue, invoices and courier labels. Business costs 279 zł a month plus 0.99 zł per order, net. OrderKrab is fulfillment software for Shopify, WooCommerce and PrestaShop stores. It books labels on your own carrier contracts, shows parcel lockers in your checkout, and runs returns on your own site. You pay a per-order fee on top of your carrier's invoice.

Choose Base if

Marketplaces bring in a large share of your orders, you want listings, prices, invoices with KSeF and stock for every channel in one panel, or you need couriers OrderKrab does not book.

Choose OrderKrab if

Most orders come through your own Shopify, WooCommerce or PrestaShop store, you want a lower fee per order, or you want parcel lockers in checkout and returns your customers start on your own site.

What you pay, and for what

Both charge per order, and on your own carrier contract the postage comes from your carrier either way. Base's fee pays for a whole order hub: marketplaces, listings, invoices, stock and shipping. OrderKrab's pays for fulfillment: labels, packing, picking, returns and stock. The fee rows compare price, not scope.

Base's figures are net, from its Polish price list and the calculator on that page, and count every order, from your store or a marketplace. OrderKrab's złoty prices are fixed conversions of its euro rate card, and its per-order rates are graduated, so each rate applies only to the orders inside its band. Neither column includes postage.

Base Freemium costs nothing for up to 100 orders a month, with 3 user profiles, hourly sync and the Packing Assistant. OrderKrab's FREE plan gives all of Pro for 50 orders a month, with no card, topped back up each month.

Prices verified 7 November 2026 on Base's Polish price list and on OrderKrab's Polish pricing page. Both companies set their own prices and can change them.

Why OrderKrab

  • Parcel lockers in your checkout. OrderKrab shows lockers sorted by distance in Shopify checkout on Grow with yearly billing, lets Basic customers pick one on the thank-you page, and adds locker search to WooCommerce checkout. We found no checkout locker picker on Base's pages; its WooCommerce plugin passes on a locker chosen in another plugin.
  • Returns on your own site. OrderKrab's returns portal sits on your Shopify or WooCommerce store, in 10 languages. Customers find the order with its number and email, and you approve with one click that creates the label. Base's help says its return form cannot run on your own domain yet and needs Base's order number, not your store's.
  • Switch or cancel any time. Base's plans change in one direction only: Freemium to Business, or Business to Enterprise. OrderKrab plans switch either way, and you can cancel any time from your account settings.
  • A lower fee per order. Base Business costs 279 zł a month plus 0.99 zł for every order, from your store or a marketplace. OrderKrab charges 0.44 zł per order on Labels and 0.61 zł on Pro, falling as volume grows. At 1,000 orders a month that is 415 zł or 590 zł, against 1,269 zł on Base's own calculator. Base's fee also covers marketplaces, invoicing and the product catalogue.
  • An AI assistant that can act. OrderKrab's MCP server lets Claude read your orders, returns and stock and, if you allow it, update addresses, create labels and approve returns, asking before every change. Base's MCP server answers questions only.
  • Problem orders fixed early. On Pro, Krab AI checks each order as it syncs from the store and proposes the fix the carrier needs, such as a bad address, before the order reaches the packing table.
