OrderKrab vs iPacky
Looking for an iPacky alternative? The real question is whether your pick and pack app should also produce the shipping label.
- Shopify + WooCommerce
- 13 carriers built in
- iOS + Android apps
- One bill, no add-ons
The short answer
iPacky scans every item against the order so nothing ships wrong, and it does that well. What it does not do is talk to carriers — for a label you also pay for a shipping platform, plus PrintNode to reach the printer. OrderKrab covers the whole path in one system, on Shopify and WooCommerce.
Choose iPacky if
You sell only on Shopify, already run Sendcloud or Starshipit, and have your shipping set up the way you want it.
Choose OrderKrab if
You want one system instead of three, sell on WooCommerce as well as Shopify, or need returns, parcel lockers at checkout and carrier labels on your own contracts.

What it actually costs to ship a parcel
Both products charge per order, so the sticker price is not the comparison that matters. iPacky cannot produce a shipping label on its own, so a working setup is iPacky plus a shipping platform plus PrintNode — three subscriptions, three invoices. Here is the whole stack against OrderKrab Pro, which includes carriers, labels, returns, checkout, analytics and Krab AI in one price.

| Shipping platform | Sendcloud from €28/mo plus €0.10 – €0.07 on every label | Included |

|---|---|---|---|
| 250 | €102 | €52 | −€50 |
| 1,000 | €286 | €154 | −€132 |

| 5,000 | €938 | €574 | −€364 |
| 10,000 | €1,519 | €1,074 | −€445 |
These figures assume Sendcloud as the shipping platform, on its cheapest qualifying plan at each volume. Sendcloud charges a monthly subscription and a fee on every label — €87 a month plus €0.09 per label at 1,000 labels — which is what makes the stack add up faster than the app prices suggest. If you use Shopify's own label service or a cheaper aggregator instead, your total will be lower than the middle column here.
iPacky has a free plan up to 50 orders a month. Worth knowing before you rely on it: the limit counts total orders placed in your shop, including POS — not orders you actually checked in iPacky — and crossing it moves you onto the paid plan automatically. OrderKrab's first 100 orders are free with full Pro access and no card.
Prices verified 18 August 2026 on iPacky's, Sendcloud's and PrintNode's own pricing pages, with USD converted to EUR at 1.08. All three vendors set their own prices and can change them — check the current figures before you decide.
Why OrderKrab
- Carriers and labels in one system. Thirteen carriers under your own contracts, PDF or ZPL through the included PrintKrab bridge. iPacky needs a separate shipping platform, plus PrintNode to reach the printer.
- Selling beyond Shopify. Native WooCommerce too, unlimited storefronts on one account, CSV and API for the rest. iPacky is Shopify-only.
- Returns. Three modes — at pack time, on customer request, or per carrier — on every carrier. iPacky has none.
- Checkout control. Locker search, lockers sorted by distance, cash-on-delivery filtering. iPacky does not touch checkout.
- Phones as the warehouse terminal. Native iOS and Android apps with camera scanning, plus pick lists in any browser. iPacky is browser-only and declines camera scanning by design.
- Fixing broken orders automatically. Krab AI proposes the corrected address or locker before a packer ever sees the order. iPacky has no AI features.
- 3PL work. Multiple client organizations under one account, scoped sub-accounts, white-label. iPacky installs per Shopify store.
What you have to set up
This is the part that is easy to miss when comparing app prices. iPacky is one layer of the job, so reaching the same finished workflow means assembling it from three products — each with its own account, its own configuration screens and its own support queue.
- 1An iPacky account, installed on Shopify.
- 2A shipping-platform account — Sendcloud, Shippo or Starshipit. iPacky's own docs are explicit that carriers, shipping rules and label formats are configured there.
- 3A PrintNode account, its client on every packing computer, and printers mapped to each workstation.
- 4Paid modules for multi-location and lot tracking. Box calculation is not self-serve — you contact support to switch it on.
- 5One global setting, "orders are fulfilled before iPacky", has to match how you work — a documented cause of a day-one "nothing works".
- 1One OrderKrab account, connected to Shopify or WooCommerce in a click.
- 2Carriers run on your own contracts and are configured in the same place you pack — no second platform to learn or pay for.
- 3PrintKrab is included and prints to any PDF or ZPL printer — no third-party print service to sign up for and pay for.
- 4Returns, checkout, analytics and Krab AI are part of the plan, not add-on modules to price up and activate one by one.
- 5Expert setup is included on every plan: we connect over AnyDesk, link the store and carriers, and get you live in about an hour. No setup fee.
Three vendors also means three renewal dates, three price changes to track and three places to look when a label will not print.
What merchants say
Both products hold 5.0 on the Shopify App Store, which on its own tells you very little — the two scores rest on samples of very different size and age. iPacky has been collecting reviews for close to six years, OrderKrab for one. Both counts and both listing dates are below, so you can weigh them yourself.
