How to control what appears on shipping labels
Decide what extra information your shipping labels carry - the customer's order note, and the SKUs and quantities inside the parcel - and when the label is created.

Go to Settings → General and scroll to Shipping Label controls.

Create shipments in advance is the first switch: on, the shipment is registered with the carrier as soon as the order is ready to pack, so its label is ready the moment the last item is confirmed; off, nothing is registered with the carrier until the packer finishes. It applies to the carriers that support it (see the fulfillment settings guide for the list).

Set Include order note on the shipping label to Enabled to print the customer's note in the label's comments section.

Set Show SKUs and quantities on the shipping label to Enabled to help packers verify contents from the label alone.

Each change saves automatically.
